Network

To date, the Housing First for Women project has been successfully implemented thanks to, among other things, good networking at various levels.

Since the start of the pilot phase, six private landlords and one municipal housing association have been persuaded to network with the availability of housing with Housing First for Women.

Housing First for Women was also presented to the various districts, job centers, political parties, universities and colleges, as well as the entire homelessness services in Berlin. This to promote the acquisition of housing, to disseminate the knowledge about Housing First for Women and the associated mediation of clients, as well as the knowledge about contact points for further help for clients of Housing First for Women.

Housing First for Women is a member of the Housing First Europe Hub. Due to the international reference, we are the point of contact, especially in the women-specific deepening of "Housing First", for further "Housing First" projects being tested and planned. International synergy effects are generated which promote the spread of "Housing First" as an alternative approach in helping the homeless across Germany.

Implementation approaches can be exchanged and improved through an international presence. In order to continue to guarantee a high level of living stability, continuous learning from one another through exchange with other "Housing First" projects across Europe is desirable.

For Housing First for Women, this membership means a multifaceted opportunity to continuously improve one's own implementation. In addition, the membership in the Housing First Europe Hub is beneficial in that, through international mutual cooperation, "Housing First" can be disseminated, tested and improved as an alternative approach in helping the homeless.
